The project

This well treasured holiday home has been held by our Brisbane clients for 20+ years.
During a cycle ride, our client rode past our building site and began the renovation process. In partnership with Briana Forster Design, the penthouse apartment has undergone a “transformation” renovation. It’s light, spacious, practical and elegant. We all just love it and it’s impeccably styled!

The brief

Strip everything back and create a space for family and future family to enjoy. ⁠⁠Open it up, maximise the sea views, create a functional, workable and modern kitchen… storage, storage, storage and build a spot for the coffee machine.

John and I enjoyed going onsite together, and working through how we would manage our living. It’s fantastic to look at all of those small decisions and how they’ve worked out. We are thrilled. There are so many elements to gush about but to mention a few, the overall outlay and openness of the living room/kitchen area that has been achieved is outstanding, the acoustic flooring is excellent, the stairs/new feature wall/ under stairs storage component is impressive.
