In a quiet cul-de-sac in a sort after street the team transformed this brick home into something special. We extended the living and dining area over the old deck and patio to add a further 25 square meters of usable space and much needed light.
The brief
Extend the living area over the back deck area, modernise the kitchen, laundry, bathroom and ensuite. Say goodbye to the 90’s and bring the Coolum home into 2018.
In a quiet cul-de-sac in a sort after street the team transformed this brick home into something special. We extended the living and dining area over the old deck and patio to add a further 25 square meters of usable space and much needed light. With a large steel beam the internal wall was opened up creating a light open plan space and the kitchen was completely renovated. Black tapware, black sink and stone bench top accompanied with off white textured tiles.
The colour palette is neutral and natural followed right through every room with French pattern tiles in the glamorous ensuite. It looks amazing and we’re thrilled with the result!
